I was prepared to be moved by Jim Brandenburg's warm, personal stories of the individuals and families he's known and loved, and shared with us.
But I was totally surprised and taken in by the young man in the "Chicago" cap, city clothes, city talk, failing for words--and in those moments being comforted by the sanctuary wolf sitting next to him, licking his face. Like every sentient creature, the greatest thing this creature wants is to love and be loved.
